In partnership with Marathon Health and BlueCross BlueShield, Endeavor Energy launched The Wellness Endeavor, their new corporate wellness program. In their own words: “This isn’t your typical health and wellness office talk. The Wellness Endeavor includes exciting quarterly events, health-focused competitions, and annual opportunities to earn points. There are also several prizes to win along the way to inspire your overall wellness including a free trip to Vegas! Yep, that’s right… start packing your bags because we’re sending one lucky employee and a guest to the Entertainment Capital of the World. To find out how we plan to elevate your health and wellness journey in 2020, make sure to visit SharePoint and stay tuned for more information via email.” Of course, this was the plan before the global COVID-19 pandemic so the Las Vegas thing didn’t work out, but they still had wellness events throughout the year. It was truly a really cool, employee-oriented program.

Endeavor Energy came to Marketwave in search of branding for this fun new program. As you can see here, they had an… interesting corporate logo to begin with. I couldn’t help but think “7-eleven” and “Mountain Dew”! So when approaching this internal sub-brand I really wanted to avoid this color combination. They had a very attractive light blue in their secondary color palette that I tried my best to get them to run with, but they decided they wanted to keep it more traditional. Therefore, I focused more on the green for the logo and incorporating their yellow as a lightly-used accent color. I used their brand green along with more monochromatic greens to complete the logo. Due to use-case scenarios, we tend to use the reversed out version of the logo more than the all-green version.

The logo design leans more corporate while still maintaining a sense of adventure and movement. For the icon, I wanted to incorporate a triangle as it’s part of the Endeavor corporate logo and can tie the two identities together. The icon comes from the belief that every person in every field of Endeavor matters and the company is at its strongest when all components work together, hence the three triangles making up one larger, whole triangle. The angle of the triangle inside the outside circles starts to resemble a compass, instilling a feeling of moving forward, being active and adventurous.

After establishing the brand, we created graphics like the above examples for their SharePoint, Email headers, and TV screens in their offices. In these graphics, we leaned more into the blue from their secondary palette and used their corporate colors as accents.

For one of their wellness events, they were doing a biking marathon and needed to have jerseys made. They wanted these lean heavily corporate so it’s mostly green and yellow, but we incorporated the blue into the topographic pattern on the torso.
