One of my favorite hobbies is illustrating. I don’t often get a chance to do it professionally, but when I’m on my own time I enjoy creating a variety of illustrations.
Tools:Illustrator, Photoshop
3 Generations
An illustration done in memory of grandmother who passed away in January of 2021.
Rebel
This illustration is inspired by a photo from the 70's. I took the opportunity to try multiple techniques.
Wonderful Window
I drew this window while in a class in Rome, later feeling inspired to illustrate it and give it new life.
Podcast Art
My friend has a podcast about fantasy football. They wanted artwork that was humorous and wanted a bus included as an inside joke. I made the three children look like each one of the podcasters.
Promise
I process big life events through art and 2020 was a rough, rough year. After George Floyd and when BLM was gaining speed, I felt inspired to make something expressing my eagerness to help.
Otterly Adorable
Otters are my favorite animal and I always want to capture their cuteness.
Jesus
More of a typographic poster, this was an exploration in type forms and color application.
View of Cinque Terre
This is an illustration I did after a photo taken of me when I visited Cinque Terre, my favorite place in the world.
Lizapalooza
The biggest event of the year is Liza (my dog)'s birthday party. 2020 was her 5th so I went all-out, creating a series of posters based on Lollapalooza to post on social media and hang around the party.
