For more than 100 years, Oncor has made safety a priority in their community. That’s why they created Oncor Super Safe Kids, a traveling educational experience that teaches elementary school kids about the importance of electric safety, how to identify potential dangers and what to do in harmful situations.
Since 2018 the Oncor Super Safe Kids team have travelled across Texas to raise awareness and bring electric safety to life for kids, educators and other organizations in the community. Through engaging activities, fun characters, videos and an “electrifying” demonstration, the team at Oncor will take kids through a memorable 30-minute experience.
What Kids Learn:
- The impact electricity has on our everyday lives.
- How to be safe around powerlines and other outdoor electric equipment.
- Storm safety and preparation tips.
